Ward Brook Trail and Lean-To
Turning off the easy trail to the "herd path" up this officially trail-less peak. The herd path is easy to follow, but we do part of the ascent on an open rock slide, to get a bit of a view.
Official evidence that we have reached the summit. The summit area is treed and has no view.
A good lookout on the southwest side.
The main lookout on the north side. Ampersand Lake and Mountain are visible in the distance.
I've got a bit of a cold so I have to bundle up against the chilly wind up here.
