Badwater

Badwater is near the lowest point in North America. There is almost always a puddle of actual liquid water here, actually very salty brine is a more accurate description.

Some of these pictures are well worth looking at large; I wish I could show them to you on my properly adjusted 20" monitor at fullscreen resolution.

Notice Telescope Peak reflected in the water in the first frame, and the "hiker highway" out to the spot on the salt flat that is the official lowest point, in the 8th frame. Also, in the fourth frame, the little white sign up on the hillside says "Sea Level".
