The Hull-Chelsea-Wakefield Steam Train runs up and down the Gatineau River between Hull and Wakefield, Quebec. The rolling stock was imported from Sweden because they could not find steam stuff in North America for a good price.
The train tows along a nice 50s vintage diesel locomotive. It is clear that the steam loco is doing all the work; the diesel is merely for shunting the train at the Wakefield end. Still, I'd prefer it if it was a pure steam train.
It takes just four men to rotate the loco on this manual turntable in Wakefield.
This train is featured in the movie "Grey Owl".
